The SHCA Working-Showing Trophy Comes to Alaska!
The theme of the 2010 National Specialty was to Find Your Dream in Kansas. Kaliya Siberians was fortunate to find it's dream in the 2009-2010 Working-Showing Award. What a thrill to be recognized by the national club with this award! Thank you to Greg & Marti Rhyne for handling through the many races during the mushing season. The other half of the equation is, of course, the show ring.
'Marley' had a Dream year in the show ring with two BIS and two BISS awards along with numerous group placements. He is handled exclusively by Ms. Courtney Dowling and what pleasure it is to watch this pair in the conformation ring. Kaliya Siberians also finished 'Phoebe' which enhanced our overall case for this award. Both Marley and Phoebe were a core part of the Kaliya Race Team last winter, along with other AKC Champions on the team.
