Pedigree
'Louie' comes
to Kaliya Siberians from Deborah and Bill Harney
in Ketchikan, Alaska, who bred Kaliya's Anastasia
of Anadyr to Black Oak's Arctic Stormwatch (Tony).
Tony is a two-time Iditarod finisher with Wayne
Curtis and Team Stormwatch and recently went
BISS at the 2008 Siberian Husky Club of Anchorage
Specialty under breed judge Donna Beckman.
According to Susan, 'Louie' has the greatest
temperament ever seen in a Siberian puppy.
Needless to say, Susan has no bias and is completely
objective in her view of this young boy. He also
has the looks and the legs to follow in the paw
prints of his grand sires Monte and Archie.
The two pictures show Susan placing a harness
around this 5-month-old stud muffin in a
game at the Doggie Olympics held in August 2007
at the Team Stormwatch Kennels (courtesy
Jolie Runyon) and his introduction to the Show
Ring at 13 months of age under the skilled handling
of junior handler Brandi Kriger.
We are quite excited about this boy who is
big, strong and handsome and has the personality
of a sweetheart.
